Rugged Primer Plus Black 5L

A specially developed VOC free water-based primer for high bond strength to various substrates which include and are not limited to galvanized steel, aluminium, wood, PVC, canvas and cloths. Rugged Primer Plus can be used on solid substrates as well as flexible substrates.

PERFORMANCE & USE: Rugged Primer Plus should be used as the primary coat for your intended use, we suggest 1-2 coats for black and 2 coats for white.

FINISH: Ultra low sheen

VOLUME SOLIDS 45%.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.3 - 1.4.

STORAGE/LIFE: Store between 5 & 25°C. Always replace lid after use, 12 months in unopened containers.

AVERAGE DRYING TIME: 1-2 hours @ 20ºC @ 60%RH.

OVERCOATING TIME: 16 hours @ 20ºC.

PACK SIZES: 5 Litre containers.

THINNER/CLEANING SOLVENT: Water.

FLASHPOINT: N/A.

THEORETICAL SPREADING RATE: 12 square metres per litre depending upon type of application.

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Brush, roller or spray.

DRY FILM THICKNESS: 50 microns.
